Rebecca Sack is the program director for Fine Arts and painting coordinator at UArts. Rebecca Saylor Sack has been teaching at UArts since 2005. Her primary focus and love is painting, but she also has a background in experimental film and photography. Sack teaches with a focus on the expanded nature of contemporary practice. She is currently creating a new series of paintings of bats called "Shadow Flyers," which is focused on connecting art and natural science to explore the coexistence of people, bats, and other animals. The works have been shown in Finland and are scheduled for an exhibition at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, MA.
