Compelling stories about facing and overcoming adversity with the usual efficient production from Wondery.

This is one of my favorite podcast, this is like experiencing "I shouldn't be Alive" or "Situation Critical" in pure audio!

Narration is good and the sounds and effects make you feel like you're there but c'mon with ads like really every 5 minutes there's about 3-4 ads in a row and they're always upbeat terrible cringey ones. I pay for Spotify monthly I'm not going to pay an arm and leg to listen to it somewhere else. I know you need sponsors but thus screams sell outs

With the usual reliable Wondery high production values, and a truly kick-ass theme song (why isn't this available to download?), 'Against the Odds' is a gripping podcast. Some stories grip a little harder than others - I especially enjoyed the Thai Cave rescue series, and the climbers in Uzbekistan. Recommended.
