Cole Sprouse is an American actor and photographer best known for his role as Jughead Jones on The CW's popular series "Riverdale," which premiered in 2017. Born on August 4, 1992, in Arezzo, Italy, Sprouse began his acting career alongside his twin brother, Dylan Sprouse, in the late 1990s. The brothers gained fame for their roles in the Disney Channel series "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody" (2005-2008) and its spinoff "The Suite Life on Deck" (2008-2011). Sprouse took a break from acting to attend New York University, where he graduated with a degree in archaeology in 2015. His work in "Riverdale" has earned him several Teen Choice Awards and solidified his place in contemporary television.
