Rubrica settimanale dedicata ai lavori dell’organizzazione C 40 – Cities Climate Leadership Group. Il network mondiale costituito da più di 90 città che condividono problemi e soluzioni contro le minacce più gravi causate dal riscaldamento globale, dall’innalzamento del livello dei mari alla desertificazione, allo scioglimento dei ghiacci. Nata nel 2005 da un’idea dell’allora Sindaco di Londra Ken Livingstone, oggi C 40 segue, tra le altre pratiche, le direttive dell’Accordo di Parigi del 2016 che si pone l’obiettivo di contenere l’aumento della temperatura globale del pianeta sotto i 2°, tracciando protocolli d’intesa tra le città per limitare i danni all’ambiente.
