In the spirit of its namesake, Adlai E. Stevenson II, Illinois State University’s Stevenson Center for Community and Economic Development is dedicated to public service and global understanding. Through interdisciplinary coursework and field work, the Applied Community and Economic Development (ACED) Fellows Program and the Peace Corps Coverdell Fellows Program at Illinois State University enhance the skills of experienced students working to become the new generation of development specialists.
