The Green Industry is demanding. We are subject to the stresses of weather, seasonal deadlines, and client demands. Throw in the physical aspect of what we do, and it's clear that our minds and bodies can be negatively impacted. Learning how to take time to treat our bodies well and give our minds a break is imperative to a long term career in this field. Truly, this is a lesson we have only learned (or at least implemented) within the last 5 years and it has been life changing. In our case, this came through the practice of yoga.
