Coach Hodgson led his red Wolves to an upset of Appalachian State in the Sun Belt semifinals as they won 10 of their last 13 games, placing them in the title game of the CBI. They lost to High Point, 81-80, but the prevalence of the end of last season has built confidence going into the 2024-25 season.
