Honestly, I can’t remember a time when I didn’t set goals for myself.

Whether it was building a swimming pool for my Barbie in the backyard or challenging my little sister to a staring contest - I’ve always been a goal-oriented person. As are most of us entrepreneurs out there.

But a couple years ago, I found myself in a place where I was obsessed with achieving my goals when it came to growing my business.

➡️ The truth is, this unhealthy obsession was actually hindering my success. Which is exactly why today’s podcast episode is all about Why “Letting Go” Is the Key to Achieving Your Goals Faster.

Back then, I’d purposely seek out books, coaches, and social media accounts that reinforced my beliefs and anytime I read something that suggested otherwise… I was immediately tuning it out. 

My thoughts consisted of: Work harder. Do more. Sleep less.

What I didn’t realize at the time was that OVER working was just as harmful to my business as taking no action at all.

Over the last two years in particular I’ve experienced an intentional shift in my relationship with goals and have begun to detangle my self-worth from whether or not I achieve them.

Funnily enough - this has led not only to increased happiness, but to reaching more of my goals.
