We start off the show with a protagonist who's optimistic, maybe even naive, with no idea what's about to happen to him. Then the villain is introduced in The Fox Stalker. We move to a border town where there's even a fight scene in Oscalypso. From there we go back and forth between good and evil until the protagonist is ultimately victorious. But in the process he loses something even more dear...personified in a dialogue between Jimmy Rushing and Nancy Wilson to close out the narrative.
All in tribute to another great film about corruption and deceit... 1958's Touch of Evil.
I'll see you next week, enjoy!
