Glory Edim is a writer and entrepreneur. She is best known as the founder of the reading network Well-Read Black Girl, which organizes a book club, a book festival, and a podcast, of which Edim is the host.Prior to founding Well-Read Black Girl, Edim worked for Kickstarter, and for the New York Foundation for the Arts.Edim received her B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from Howard University.

William James Collins is also known as Billy Collins. He is an American poet, appointed as Poet Laureate of the United States from 2001 to 2003. He is the Senior Distinguished Fellow of the Winter Park Institute at Rollins College, Winter Park, Florida. He was also considered as a Literary Lion of the New York Public Library and selected as the New York State Poet for 2004 through 2006.

Joseph O'Neill is a novelist, poet, and non-fiction writer. He writes political essays for the New York Review of Books.O'Neill's first book, "This Is the Life," was published in 1991. His third novel, "Netherland," was published in 2008 and was awarded the 2009 PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction.

Lilliam Rivera is a fiction writer. She has written for the episodic podcast series "Love in Gravity."Rivera's short fiction and personal essays have appeared in Tin House, New York Times, Buzzfeed Books, and The Washington Post. She has published eight books: four young adult novels, three children's books, and a graphic novel. Her novel "Never Look Back" is being adapted for television by Amazon.
