David Remnick is an American journalist, writer, and editor, known for his role as the editor of The New Yorker since 1998. Born in Hackensack, New Jersey, Remnick previously worked as a reporter for The Washington Post. He won a Pulitzer Prize for his book "Lenin's Tomb: The Last Days of the Soviet Empire." Under his leadership, The New Yorker has maintained its status as a leading voice in journalism, known for its rigorous fact-checking and in-depth analysis of contemporary issues.
